EXPERIENCES
Pam has taught Home Economics, General Science,
Tailoring, and quilt classes at local quilt and fabric shops. She authored a high school Consumer Education curriculum guide,
judged state textile divisions for private schools and 4-H organizations, and has written a manuscript for a quilt book. Pam
has also donated her time to teach and sew for family, friends, school, community organizations, and church groups.

TEACHING GOALS
One of Pam's goals is to empower students to accomplish quilt designs they may have previously considered beyond their
ability. Whether teaching quilt basics or a technique that will help take students to the next skill level, Pam desires to
inspire quilters, help them succeed in quilting, and have fun on the journey. Several hundred students over the years have
confirmed that Pam's decision to become an educator was the "right" decision for her.

A THOUGHT ON LIFE
Pam uses a metaphor about life and
snowballs: Some snowballs will hit us causing little effect, while others with hidden rocks will cause life-altering experiences.
As a cancer survivor, she believes every day is a precious gift and must be lived deliberately and with joyful passion.
